The current president of the Long Island Affiliate of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Michael Duffy is active in numerous victims' rights groups, including PULSE (Persons United for Limiting Substandards and Errors in Healthcare) and serves on the Advisory Board of the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline and Support Program. Michael is on the board of CancerCare of Long Island and UCP of Greater Suffolk. He is also a member of the Long Island Trials Lawyers Association, the Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association, the New York Bar Association, The Nassau and Suffolk Bar Associations and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. In 2003, Michael was awarded the 40 under 40 award from Long Island Business News.
