Lawyer Overview

Chuck Rowland grew up in the Dallas area and went to Mesquite High School before working in management in the grocery and inventory industries. Mr. Rowland attended UTA where he graduated in the top 10% of his class with a BA in Sociology. He then attended Texas Tech Law School in Lubbock where he won the school's client counseling competition and graduated in 1987. He was licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas that same year.

Mr. Rowland practiced general law in a small office in Wichita Falls his first year as a lawyer and then moved to Fort Worth and began a general law practice in the office of State Senator Chris Harris. Mr. Rowland has been a solo practitioner for the eight years prior to joining the firm of Bailey & Galyen, practicing in all areas of family law. He enjoys the practice of family law because of the personal satisfaction that comes from helping individuals and families at their time of greatest personal upheavals to transition to a calmer, happier, more stable life.

Mr. Rowland is located in the Bedford office in the Family Law Department.

Community Involvement:

Volunteer at the Women's Center, AIDS Outreach Center, Dispute Resolution Services of Tarrant County, Habitat for Humanity.

Mr. Rowland has spoken to elementary, high school and college classes on various aspects of the legal process and to child advocate volunteer classes on the role of attorneys in CPS (Child Protective Services) cases.

Mediation:

Mr. Rowland is an Advanced Mediator trained by Dispute Resolution Services of Tarrant County and has helped train new mediators. Mr. Rowland is also trained as a family mediator.
