Doug has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers since 1990, making him one of 1600 attorneys in the United States to be recognized by both judges and other attorneys as a preeminent family law practitioner for his high level of knowledge, skill and integrity. He has been repeatedly selected by his peers for inclusion in the The Best Lawyers in America and in Indiana Super Lawyers in the field of Family Law, and is a Certified Family Law Specialist and a Registered Family Law Mediator in the state of Indiana.
Doug has been and continues to be a presenter and chairman of numerous continuing legal education seminars in the area of family law, and is recognized by both judges and other lawyers for his leadership in improving the quality of legal services which are provided to families in Northwest Indiana.
