Fred M. Charness founded the firm in 1982 after a thirteen-year tenure as counsel for the Automobile Club of Southern California.  Drawing on that experience, he has devoted the past twenty years to the litigation and collection of subrogation losses for insurance clients.  He is certified by the American Arbitration Association and has been a long-time member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals.  By specializing in subrogation matters, Mr. Charness is able to avoid many of the legal distractions that insurance defense law firms often face.  He has chosen to make subrogation his obligation.
