    Lawyer Profile:

Jennifer L. Cho received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law in July of 1994. Ms. Cho worked as a law clerk in the field of Social Security Disability at the Law Offices of Susan R. Wasserman while attending law school. She then joined the firm as an associate attorney upon being admitted to the Bar in December, 1994. She has handled cases from the initial application level through hearing and to the Appeals Council and the United States District Court.

Our firm is one of the leading firms in the area of Social Security Disability. Our practice is limited exclusively to Social Security Disability cases. The firm was established in 1981 by Susan R. Wasserman. She was formerly an Attorney Advisor to the Social Security Administration, Office of Hearings and Appeals. She then became a Deputy Public Defender with the Contra Costa County Public Defender's Office until she went into private practice. Since suffering her own debilitating disability in 1992, she has championed the rights of the Disabled. Since 1992, she has committed 100% of her office resources to representing the most under represented segment of society, the Disabled.

The firm has three outstanding associates: James P. Shea, and Jennifer L. Cho & Linh Vuong

Our practice includes representation of Social Security Disability claimants from the Initial Applications, Reconsideration, and Administrative Hearing levels. We also represent claimants in appeals to the Appeals Council and the United States District Court system. The Social Security Regulations allow an individual to recover both Workers' Compensation benefits, and, in most instances, Social Security Disability benefits. We take great pride in working hand in hand with our clients' Workers' Compensation lawyers to insure a smooth coordination between the Social Security Disability and Workers' Compensation benefits. We are professionals with a track record.

We are also familiar with Long-Term Disability cases and how they coordinate with Social Security Disability benefits. We represent claimants exclusively in their Social Security Disability cases to insure that both their rights and privacy are protected. We welcome claimants who are pursuing Social Security Disability benefits as part of the requirements for Long Term Disability. While we do accept referrals from Long-Term Disability carriers, our one goal and exclusive agenda is to obtain the claimants' Social Security Disability benefits.

Our firm takes pride in offering personalized service by caring professionals to claimants' applying for Social Security Disability benefits. Our firm has staff fluent in Spanish, Korean & Vietnamese. We are conveniently located in the Miracle Mile area for clients in the greater Los Angeles area and in the Inland Empire (Ontario). Our Ontario office is in association with Judith S. Leland, Attorney at Law.
