Bill Brown focuses his practice on representing clients in intellectual property litigation and complex commercial litigation. He has experience in cases involving public works, communications equipment, aerospace operations, wholesale energy contracts, and medical devices. Bill's patent litigation experience includes such diverse technologies as digital signal processing, LCD and plasma display panels, semiconductors, Internet servers, database management systems, pharmaceuticals, nutritional supplements, automotive parts, and flashlights. Bill has represented action sports companies, enforcing intellectual property rights related to skateboard and footwear products. Bill has appeared in actions in state and federal courts throughout the United States. These include the federal courts for the Central District of California, Northern Districts of California and Texas, District of Colorado, Southern District of New York, District of Delaware, District of New Jersey, and Eastern District of Texas.

Prior to attending law school, Bill served on active duty in the Air Force. His military experience includes tactical deployments to the Persian Gulf and Somalia, evaluation of high-technology equipment on real world missions, and performing sensitive national security tasks.

Bill is active in legal and civic organizations in Orange County, including service on the executive board of the Federalist Society and the advisory board of Orange County Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse.

Bill is a member of the State Bar of California.
