Ms. Rafik is a civil litigation attorney who focuses her practice on representing individuals with chronic illnesses and disabilities. In the past eight years she has represented several hundred disabled clients and has won them tens of millions of dollars in benefits.

Ms. Rafik has represented individuals with severe chronic or catastrophic conditions, such as Multiple Sclerosis, HIV, Fibromyalgia, Lyme Disease and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, as well as individuals who suffer from disabling mental illness. She has successfully secured health insurance coverage, long-term disability insurance and related benefits for her clients during the internal process and through litigation. Ms. Rafik specializes in health and disability benefits law, with a particular emphasis on ERISA.
