Law Firm Overview

Since the inception of our law firm in 1977, the goal of the Law Offices of Martin Taller has been to provide first-class professional legal representation to individuals whose ability to work has been adversely impacted as a result of injury or illness. By exploring and pursuing all legal remedies available, including workers compensation, personal injury civil actions, social security disability benefits, long term disability insurance and /or disability pensions, we seek to maximize our clients' financial recovery while also providing guidance and appropriate professional referrals with respect to rehabilitation, medical care and mental health services.

Workers' Compensation
Our law firm represents workers compensation claimants from the initial claim stages through hearings and, when necessary, appeals to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, the district court of appeals, and the California Supreme Court.

Social Security Disability Claims
We represent Social Security claimants from the initial claims through hearings and appeals and in civil actions requesting review of the Social Security Administration's unfavorable decisions in the federal district court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Over the past twenty years we have helped to secure Social Security Benefits of over 1,000 individuals and their families.

Long Term Disability Insurance-ERISA
We also have developed a growing practice in providing legal assistance to clients to help them to secure their long-term disability benefits, including representation in federal court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

At the attorney/client interview, which generally lasts 1-3 hours, all potential claims, including workers compensation, social security benefits, and/or potential claims and benefits, such as disability insurance or disability pension benefits, continuation of medical insurance, or continuation of life insurance, etc. will be thoroughly explored. There is no fee for the initial consultation with an attorney. Generally, we represent clients on a contingency-fee basis.
