Law Firm Overview

It is difficult to describe a "firm philosophy" in one sentence. Rather, I would like to describe a list of standards by which I practice law.

When representing clients in any area of the law, a quality legal product is important, but quality legal service is paramount. It is true that clients want and demand results. However, clients also want expert service. They want phone calls returned, documents drafted in a timely manner and to be treated in a polite courteous manner. In essence, they do not want to be thought of as just another file. Consequently, a quality legal product and service to my clients are cornerstones of my practice.

Honesty and integrity are also pillars of my professional and personal life. Unfortunately, lawyers have a terrible reputation in our society. I cannot change that perception. However, I can dissolve that perception in my client's mind as it pertains to me. There are many times I tell my client or a potential client what he or she does not want to hear. That is not always good business. However, as an individual and attorney, my reputation as an honest lawyer among other lawyers, judges and clients is crucial.

Correspondingly, I view my practice for the long term. When representing a client, I do not view myself as an attorney for a particular problem or project. Rather, I consider myself as their personal attorney in which they may consult regarding small or large problems.
