Robert Mayo is a corporate attorney who has significant experience in capital markets and M&A. He has been involved in a large number of transactions in both areas and regularly assists issuers and banks in public transactions and private placements; he is also regularly involved in public and private cross-border M&A transactions for buyers and sellers. As part of his work, Robert assists French and U.S. companies on corporate governance matters.

Robert recently assisted a French-listed company with a registered debt offering in the United States and assisted a Nordic-listed biotech company with an international rights issue. He also recently advised a listed French company on the acquisition of a listed U.S. company and advised a Russian conglomerate on the acquisition of the assets of a listed U.S. biotech in bankruptcy.

Representative clients include the following companies and/or their subsidiaries: Danske Bank, Essilor, France Telecom, Goodrich, sanofi-aventis, Thales, and Veolia.

Robert is a member of the California and Paris bars. He teaches classes in corporate law at ESSEC (French business school) and previously taught classes in U.S. law at the Paris Bar School.
