Our practice is devoted almost exclusively to personal injury law. Our business philosophy is simple: Client interests always come first. Our experience has shown us that if we serve our clients well, our own success will follow.
We offer you our ability and experience in personal injury law and, most importantly, our reputation. If any of these is ever diminished, the last is the most difficult to restore. We are dedicated to complying fully with the letter and the spirit of the law, rules, and ethical standards that govern us. Our continued success depends on it.

We consistently strive to bring our cases to as quick and fair a resolution as possible, whether by settlement or litigation. We do not allow our files to sit and become "stale". That, we believe, sends the wrong message to an insurance company.

Finally, we pride ourselves on developing strong relationships with our clients through frequent correspondence and interaction. We return phone calls and e-mails, almost without exception, the same day we receive them. We do not wait for our clients to call us for updates on their case, we proactively keep our clients updated.

Jim Knowles, Sr. began practicing law in 1957 as an Omaha trial lawyer handling many kinds of civil matters. By 1967, his law practice focused on personal injury law.

In 1981, his oldest son, Jim, Jr., joined him in practice and immediately devoted almost all of his time to personal injury. Three years later, his youngest son, Bob, joined the firm, and he too practices almost exclusively in the personal injury field. In May 2007, Jim Jr.'s oldest son, Matt, graduated from Creighton University's School of Law and joined Knowles Law Firm.
