Summary

Law Firm Overview

Saidis, Shuff, Flower & Lindsay has become one of the largest and most respected law firms in Cumberland County by providing quality legal services to clients for more than four decades. From our offices in Carlisle and Camp Hill, we represent individual and business clients throughout Pennsylvania.

Saidis, Shuff, Flower & Lindsay's objective is to provide our clients with a responsive, reliable source of advice and counsel at a reasonable cost. Our most valued asset is the trust and confidence which our clients place in us.

The firm's origins date to 1949 when James D. Flower was admitted to the Bar. Mr. Flower subsequently joined Myers, Myers, Flower & Johnson with offices in Lemoyne and Carlisle. The association continued until 1985 when James D. Flower and his son, James D. Flower, Jr., established a practice in Carlisle. The Flowers and Carol J. Lindsay formed Flower, Flower & Lindsay in 1993.

In June of 1958, John E. Slike and James K. Arnold formed Arnold & Slike in Camp Hill. The firm became Arnold, Slike & Bayley when Edgar B. Bayley became a partner in 1972. Mr. Mayley left the firm in 1984, following election as a Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Cumberland County.

In January, 1992, Arnold & Slike merged with Saidis, Guido & Masland, which had been founded in 1976 by Robert C. Saidis and Edward E. Guido as Saidis & Guido. Albert H. Masland, who later became a member of the State House of Representatives, joined the firm as a partner in 1988.

In April, 1994, the name of the firm was changed to Saidis, Guido, Shuff & Masland to include Geoffrey S. Shuff, a partner since 1991. In November, 1997, Mr. Guido was elected a Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Cumberland County. The firm's name was changed to Saidis, Shuff & Masland when Mr. Guido assumed office in January, 1998.

Saidis, Shuff & Masland merged with Flower, Flower & Lindsay on August 1, 2000. Saidis, Shuff, Flower & Lindsay combines the expertise, knowledge and dedication of its lawyers to deliver a wide-range of legal services to its clients throughout Central Pennsylvania.
