Mr. Kingsley joined the firm in 1962 immediately after graduating cum laude from Harvard Law School. He had previously received his B.A. degree in 1959 from Yale University.

Mr. Kingsley is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, is a Member of the American Law Institute, and is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. He presently serves as a Director of the Center for Family Business of the University of New Haven. He has served as the Chairman of the Estates and Probate Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, as an Officer of the Connecticut Bar Association, and as President of the Connecticut Bar Foundation. He has also served as a member of the Connecticut Probate Revision Study Commission and of the Tax Revenue Study Commission of the State of Connecticut. The Connecticut Bar Association awarded its Charles J. Parker Legal Services Award to him in 1987.
