Kevin Checkett opened a general practice in 1977. Since then he has focused on commercial & bankruptcy litigation, and on estate and business planning. He routinely handles bankruptcy matters throughout the country.

Charles "Chuck" Pauly practiced law in Dallas, Texas for 15 years before coming to Carthage. Prior to then his professional career was with large law firms. He has represented manufacturing and distribution businesses, retail and service companies, and firms specializing in real estate development, aviation, insurance, motion picture feature films, and music.
