Jonathan H. Steiner concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial civil litigation, including real property litigation, bankruptcy litigation, tax litigation, and insurance coverage and bad faith disputes. Mr. Steiner’s experience includes representation of numerous corporations, insurance companies and individuals in Hawaii State Court, Federal District Court, and the United States Tax Court. Mr. Steiner has argued before the Hawaii Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Steiner also serves on three different non-profit boards, including as Chairman of the Board of Hawaii International Child.
Prior to joining McCorriston, Mr. Steiner clerked for the Honorable Herbert Y.C. Choy, Senior Justice for the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He also practiced at Ashford & Wriston for four years, concentrating in general civil litigation.
