Law Firm Overview

Throughout the Firm's history, we have recognized that providing legal service requires a thorough understanding of our client's needs and concerns. We build strong client relationships and, through effective business counseling, we help our clients avoid the legal pitfalls that are encountered all too often in today's society. Our ultimate goal is to minimize the cost and worry associated with legal problems to allow our clients to focus their energy and resources on achieving their own goals.

Because the legal needs of our business and individual clients do not fit neatly into categories, we draw on the experience of the lawyers within the Firm to achieve the desired result. Our Firm consists of lawyers that have a variety of personal and professional interests which creates a wealth of experience and knowledge to serve the needs of our clients.

The Firm is committed to providing professional and timely legal services. We strive to provide each of our clients with effective and accessible legal representation. That commitment has not changed since Mr. Moore and Mr. Romley first became partners in 1937 and continues today as Curtis Jennings, Bill Haug, Jack Cunningham, and their partners work hard to provide their clients with the legal services they require.

Firm History

The firm originally was created in 1937 when James R. Moore and Elias M. Romley formed the law partnership of Moore and Romley. Over the years, the Firm grew in size and provided legal services in Arizona to both local and national clients. Curtis A. Jennings joined the Firm as an associate in 1963. Sixteen years after joining the Firm, Curtis became a named partner when the Firm's name was changed from Moore and Romley to Moore, Jennings, Kepner, Scheffing & Hart. In 1981, William F. Haug joined the Firm as a partner, and the Firm's name was changed to Jennings, Kepner and Haug. After Craig R. Kepner retired from the practice of law, the Firm's name was shortened to Jennings & Haug. Most recently, in 1998, twenty-one years after John R. (Jack) Cunningham joined the Firm as an associate, Jack became a named partner and the Firm's name was changed to Jennings, Haug & Cunningham.
