Jamie Class is a counsel in the firm's Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Practice Group. She joined the firm in 1992.

Practice

Ms. Class concentrates her practice on commercial law, Chapter 11 reorganizations, out of court work-outs, advising clients on secured and unsecured lending and the Uniform Commercial Code. Ms. Class has worked on corporate and debt restructurings and the purchase and sale of assets through bankruptcy. She has extensive experience in representing publicly traded and privately held borrowers and lenders in negotiating and closing complex debt financing transactions.

Ms. Class advises clients in a range of industries, including communications, high technology, biotechnology, financial services, real estate investment, energy, health care, retail and manufacturing. Ms. Class has extensive experience in the energy industry, having represented energy companies in project financing transactions, Chapter 11 cases and consensual work-outs, as well as in acquisitions and divestitures of interests in energy companies.
