Lawyer Overview

Roger A. Raimond is a partner in the Firm's Litigation Department.  His practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation with a specialty in real property, foreclosure, and environmental law.  Mr. Raimond has represented several leading financial institutions in connection with real property/foreclosure matters, and has represented the leading petroleum transportation carrier with respect to environmental matters.

Mr. Raimond served on the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association's Environmental Law Committee.  Mr. Raimond lectured on ethics and environmental law at the New York State Bar Association's annual meeting in 2005, and Co-Chaired the Environmental Law sub-committee on Ethics from 2004 to 2006.  Mr. Raimond has experience in other areas of law, for example, Mr. Raimond lectured at the New York State Bar Association Business Law Committee, on the Electronic Signature Act.  Mr. Raimond is also a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.

Mr. Raimond graduated cum laude from SUNY at New Paltz and received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1991.  He is admitted to practice in the States of Connecticut and New York.  He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.  Mr. Raimond has been a partner of the Firm since 2000.
