Lawyer Overview

Mr. Fericks' general civil practice includes problem solving and litigation in areas of real estate, construction, business and contracts.  His broad practice allows him to analyze legal issues from many angles and evaluate the costs/benefits of multiple options.  As someone who has both drafted and litigated contracts, construction agreements and real estate transactions, Mr. Fericks knows what works, whether it's documenting a deal which needs to be held together, or choosing strategies and tactics for litigating disputes.  Through an integration of knowledge and experience in a number of related legal areas, Mr. Fericks has elevated the role of generalist in an age of specialization to a high art.  Mr. Fericks excels at working with clients who are looking for practical, cost-effective solutions, and he is a tenacious and resourceful litigator when only juries or judges can resolve the differences.  Mr. Fericks has served in a number of managerial positions at Richards Brandt Miller Nelson, and from January 2000 through December 2004 he was the firm's Managing Attorney.
