Emphasis in major tort litigation, anti-trust litigation, airline disaster litigation and employment discrimination litigation. Mr. Steinberg is also active in the area of private mediations. Mr. Steinberg served as a United States Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio from 1978 through 1996. Prior to Mr. Steinberg's service as a United States Magistrate Judge, he acted as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio U.S. Attorneys offices from 1968 through 1978. Mr. Steinberg has extensive administrative experience both as a member of the bench and as a United States Attorney. He is a member of numerous professional associations and organizations related to the practice of law and the Federal bar. In addition, Mr. Steinberg has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati Law School and the University of Dayton Law School.

Mr. Steinberg was admitted to the Bar of the State of Ohio in 1967. Mr. Steinberg was educated at the Ohio State University where he received his B.A. in 1964 and his J.D. in 1966.
