    Mr. Trobaugh is a shareholder with Mansfield, Tanick & Cohen. In addition to Chairing the firm's Education Law Department, his practice includes Civil Litigation and Employment Law. Mr. Trobaugh is licensed to practice in all courts in Minnesota and the U.S. Supreme Court and is the former President of the Hennepin County Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the Hennepin County Bar Association. Mr. Trobaugh was Co-Chair of the Hennepin County Lawyer Committee (1997-2000), which oversees the bar association's monthly magazine of the same name. Mr. Trobaugh has taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota School of Law (2003) and the Hamline University School of Law (2000), in the area of Privacy Law.

    Mr. Trobaugh received his J.D. from Hamline University School of Law, where he was Production Editor of the Journal of Public Law & Policy and recipient of the Stevens Brothers Scholarship. Mr. Trobaugh is an honors graduate of Ripon College in Wisconsin. He also studied at American University and was a Congressional Intern.

    Mr. Trobaugh is the author of many articles. Among the titles are: Student Websites: 1st Amendment Issues & Challenges; Another One Drives the Bus - School Bus Law in Minnesota; The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act - Basics of a Bright IDEA; Re-employment Insurance: 10 Tips for Claimants and Employers at re-employment Appeal Hearings; Ten Tips for Dealing with Workplace Problems for Educational Personnel; and Top Ten Tips for Workplace Success. Mr. Trobaugh co-authored with Marshall H. Tanick the article entitled: From Tinker to "Bong," which appeared in Bench & Bar, the official magazine of the Minnesota State Bar Association.
