Lawyer Overview

Eric J. Voogt graduated with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University and spent one year working as an engineer at Cessna Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas.  Eric then attended law school at the University of Kansas where he graduated in the top 10 percent of his class and served on the Kansas Law Review.

In Eric's first year after graduation from law school, he worked as a Policy Consultant for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)  in Washington, D.C.  After his time with the EPA, Eric spent five years with Spencer Fane Britt & Brown, LLP in Kansas City, Missouri practicing general commercial litigation and environmental law.

Since joining Inman Flynn Biesterfeld Brentlinger & Moritz, P.C. in January of 2002, Eric has practiced in the areas of environmental litigation, construction litigation, insurance coverage litigation, and litigation for special districts.

Eric's experience and expertise includes: civil litigation, environmental litigation, construction litigation, insurance coverage litigation, water rights, special districts law, environmental compliance counseling, toxic torts and water pollution, and property damage cases.

Eric enjoys many of the outdoor activities that Colorado provides including skiing, mountain biking, hiking and fly fishing.  Eric is also an avid sports fan, is married and has a son and a dog.
