Jonn Beeson advises and counsels a broad range of companies, from smaller private companies to large publicly traded corporations, on corporate and transactional matters, primarily negotiated mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, takeover preparedness, corporate finance, corporate governance, and general corporate counseling. His experience includes many complex cross-border matters.

Jonn regularly represents acquirers and targets on a variety of M&A transactions, including public company mergers, hostile takeovers, and leveraged buyouts, as well as private acquisitions. He has represented issuers and investment banks in public and private debt and equity offerings and advises publicly traded companies in connection with Securities and Exchange Commission reporting issues, licensing, and contracts.

Jonn's experience spans a number of industries, including consumer products, biotechnology, health care, semiconductor, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals. He has represented such industry leaders as Amgen, Allergan, Arbonne International, Avanir Pharmaceuticals, Beckman Coulter, The Carlyle Group, Jazz Semiconductor, Piper Jaffray, Patron, Skilled Healthcare Group, and VNUS Medical Technologies.

Jonn is a frequent lecturer and author on mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, and corporate governance issues. He is the past president of the Business and Corporate Law Section of the Orange County Bar Association. Jonn also serves as co-chair of the annual Constitutional Rights Foundation Career Forum Conference.
