Lawyer Overview

John Perugini practices in the areas of general corporate and securities law, with primary emphasis on the representation of issuers and underwriters in domestic and international private placements and public offerings of debt and equity securities. John has represented clients in many different types of industries, including investment banking, engineering and construction, computer storage, health care, biotechnology, education, energy production and distribution, telecommunications, rail transit, and other industrial products. In addition, he assists public companies in satisfying their periodic reporting obligations and advises clients generally with respect to securities law issues and corporate governance matters.

John is a certified public accountant and previously worked for two years as an auditor for Ernst & Young. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and The Chicago Bar Association.

John coauthored "Maintaining the Commercial Vitality of Letters of Credit: Revisions to Illinois UCC Article 5" for the May 1997 issue of the Illinois Bar Journal.
