James Francque's practice includes real estate investments, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, commercial and industrial leasing, and real estate joint venture and M&A transactions. James has significant experience with general secured financing and development of real property as well.

James also has been active in the acquisition and development of wind energy facilities. In addition to extensive U.S. experience, James has been involved in significant real estate and joint venture transactions in Canada, Mexico, and Asia.

His clients include institutional investors, many of the Firm's Fortune 500 clients, and large U.S. developers. Clients with whom James regularly works include CalEast Industrial Investors, The Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds, Simon Property Group, KeyCorp, and Otter Tail Corporation.

His notable pro bono activities include performing legal services for Abilities Plus, an organization devoted to promoting opportunities for individuals with disabilities and their families, and Family Focus, an organization that promotes the well being of children from birth by supporting and strengthening their families.
