Rich in history, Mobile was founded in 1702 by the French explorer Jean Baptiste LeMoyne of Bienville. Mobile was moved to its present location on the Mobile River at the head of Mobile Bay in 1711. Mobile was ceded to the British in 1763, captured by the Spanish in 1780, and seized by the United States in 1813. The depth and diversity of this heritage is reflected physically in the commercial and residential architecture of the city. French, English, Spanish, and Native American influences have blended to create a unique culture which has influenced everything from our celebration of Mardi Gras, to the gumbo we eat, to the architecture of our homes.

Mobile offers a variety of recreational and cultural activities.  From symphonies to seashells, baseball to battleships, Mobile has something to offer everyone, any day of the year.  Our Mobile office currently occupies one floor of the Riverview Plaza in the heart of downtown Mobile. The Riverview Plaza overlooks the Mobile Bay and the Causeway. From our Mobile office, one can watch the ships come and go from one of the U.S.’s most active ports or gaze at the famous restaurants lining the Causeway.
