Summary
Law Firm Overview
In Depth, Experienced Representation
Since 1994, our firm has provided quality legal services in the area of Family Law and Divorce to the residents of Illinois. We have a reputation for giving our clients consistent and in-depth advice and counsel. In other words, our attorneys practice law with a team approach, in order to give you the comprehensive representation you deserve. For example, if you retain us as your family law firm, you will always find someone available to handle emergencies or answer questions. When our clients hire any one of us, they hire every lawyer in the practice. As lawyers, we consult with each other extensively because we feel that attention to detail is an important part of our success; and, accordingly, we will facilitate your case with the utmost care. We will not take your trust for granted.
Comprehensive Approach to Family Law Practice
We take pride in working directly with our clients to assist them in resolving all aspects of their family law case. Divorce and Custody often present a wide variety of issues ranging from financial assessment to psychological evaluation. While we work diligently to assist our clients with their family law issues, we also make a point of preparing our clients for the financial repercussions and the psychological impact of divorce. If your issues require outside counseling and advice, we will refer you to the proper experts, such as forensic accountants or psychologists. If we can handle your issues exclusively, we will do so honestly, diligently, and thoroughly.
Our Benchmark is Advocacy
Divorce can be an extremely difficult undertaking. What once was a nurturing relationship might nowx` be a series of court proceedings and disagreements. As family law attorneys, we understand the emotional implications of martial dissolution, and we are prepared to offer you the personalized and professional support you need to start over. We will respond to your questions and concerns, and take the time to educate you on the proceedings and laws that are impacting your life with such seriousness.
Collaborative Family Law
Our lead attorney, Maurine Sullivan Taylor, Esq. is trained in collaborative family law and mediation. Collaborative Family Law (CFL) is an area of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) that emphasizes settling family law disputes outside of the courtroom. Under the principles of CFL, all parties involved in a legal dispute work together toward resolution of their issues in an informal and positive environment. No lawsuits or courtroom appearances are required.
If you have a family law issue that needs resolution, do not hesitate to call our office immediately. We will educate on your options, and we will fight to protect your rights.
The firm provides legal representation to clients undergoing change in family and personal relationships. A team approach is utilized in order to include the expertise of professionals, accountants, financial planners, and medical and mental health care providers to prepare for complex litigation and collaborative law.
