Senior partner, Douglas F. Spesia heads the commercial division of the firm, working with attorneys, John R. Ardaugh, Christian G. Spesia, Martin J. Shanahan, Jr., and Gabriel G. Orenic. Together, these attorneys concentrate in the fields of municipal law, condemnation, zoning, taxation and related litigation, as well as estate planning, trust, real estate and commercial matters. They have represented some of the largest companies in the State of Illinois while also serving the needs of small corporate and individual clients.

Senior partner, E. Kent Ayers heads the civil trial division of the firm, working with attorneys John M. Spesia, Jeffrey S. Taylor, and Mark A. Lichtenwalker. Dinah Lennon Archambeault and former Associate Circuit Judge Thomas M. Ewert, former chief of the civil division of the 12th Judicial, serve as valued counsel to the firm. These attorneys have represented individuals, corporations, insurance companies, utilities, school districts, school boards and municipalities in almost every area of civil litigation, including personal injury, property loss, products liability and medical malpractice.
