Law Firm Overview

I am an attorney duly admitted to practice in the State of New York since December 1969. I have a degree in Accounting from St. Francis College, a Master's degree in federal taxation from Pace University, and am a graduate of New York Law School. I am admitted to the Washington D.C. Bar.

Since being admitted to practice Law on December 17, 1969, I have authored several articles which have appeared in the New York Law Journal, Judicature The Advocate, and other nationwide and statewide publications. I was appointed as a Special Master in the Supreme Court of the County of New York, and I have served as an arbitrator in the Civil Court of the New York, and Bronx County. I have also served as an arbitrator in the Small Claim Court for the County of New York, and I as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association on various panels. I served as a member of the American Judges Association.

I was appointed to serve as the Chairperson for the New York County Lawyer Association Committee on the use of word processing, appointed by the Appellate Division First Department to the Central Screening Committee and presently serve as a Member of the Board of Directors of the New York Law School Alumni Association.

I had co-authored a book while a member of the New York Associates on how to incorporate a not-for-profit corporation and I am included in various editions of Who's Who in America. I have also lectured to various community groups on a variety of subjects and I am on the Association of the bar of the City of New York's Legal Referral list providing legal assistance for several specialized areas of practice. I have written several articles on the use of video tape, and have had several letters published in the New York Law Journal on the need for expedited procedures for infant compromise settlements, and on the need for further study on the use of insanity defenses in criminal cases.

Since my admission to practice I have handled a variety of matters in one several areas of law, including Labor Law, Criminal Law, Commercial Law, Matrimonial Law, Tort Law/Legal Malpractice, Estates and Trusts, and Real Estate and I have been the attorney of record on several matters involving substantial questions of law in the areas of labor law, criminal law, taxation, tort liability, apportionment, and corporate law which were official reported cases in the Court of Appeals of the State of New York, the Appellate Division First and Second Department, and the Circuit Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. I specialize in significant legal malpractice cases.

I have been requested by various Justices of the Supreme Court of the State of New York to provide services either as a receiver, a conservator, counsel to a fiduciary, a referee, and/or as a guardian ad litem.
