Mr. Johnson has a broad range of practical experience that has proved to be valuable in completing transactions, resolving issues and providing practical guidance to individuals and business entities.

His practice now is primarily devoted to real estate transactions including acquisitions and sales, development, land use, planning and landlord/tenant.  He maintains close contact with clients and real estate professionals.

He has represented not only individuals but banks, real estate brokers, Fortune 500 companies, and developers.  He has represented zoning boards, planning boards, municipalities, housing authorities, and counties.  His experience includes the entire development process, liitgation regarding development approvals and denials, and appellate review.

He and his firm have extensive experience in wills, trusts, probate and estate administration, including numerous will and probate contests.

For several years he was actively involved in the many facets of family law including divorce, custody, support, visitation, guardianships and adoptions.

We practice in the areas of residential and commercial real estate law, criminal defense, civil and commercial litigation, estate planning and probate, and family law.

Civic Activities

Mr. Johnson subscribes to the belief that a lawyer is a public citizen and that the law is a profession.

He was President of the Morris County Bar Association, President of the Greater Dover West Morris Chamber of Commerce, President of the Dover Kiwanis Club and served for many years on the Board of Trustees of Dover General Hospital and Saint Clare's Hospital.  He is a former Executive Director of the Morris County Republic Committee.
