Lawyer Overview

Lee Coffey has experience in litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution in a wide variety of legal areas, including banking, commercial contracts, shareholder disputes, insurance, IT, international trade, commodities, shipping, and energy.

Lee's caseload has included involvement in international arbitrations, both ad hoc and under the rules of the ICC, LCIA, GAFTA, FOSFA, and LMAA, and cases before the High Court in London, both Queen's Bench (including the Admiralty and Commercial Courts) and Chancery Division, involving a wide variety of different types of commercial contracts and a broad range of multinational, jurisdictional, and enforcement matters. Prior to joining Jones Day in May 1997, he worked at Denton Hall in London from 1991 to 1997.
