Lawyer Overview

Larry concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning and post-death administration, as well as asset protection planning and charitable planned giving. He counsels clients with respect to a wide range of issues relating to wills and trusts, estate planning, trust administration, asset protection, charitable giving, business succession and taxes. Larry is licensed to practice law before the Supreme Court of the State of Tennessee, the Supreme Court of the State of Wyoming, the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee and the United States Tax Court.

Larry is a member of WealthCounsel, LLC, a national provider of estate planning education and document drafting systems. His other affiliations include the Tennessee Bar Association, the Memphis Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Memphis Estate Planning Council. Larry is a former officer and current member of the Planned Giving Council of Greater Memphis and former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of his local church where he also served on the Endowment Fund Committee.

Larry has presented nationally to professional audiences for WealthCounsel, LLC, the University of Mississippi's Mid-South Conference on Estate Planning, the Esperti Peterson Institute for Advanced Estate Planning Strategies, the Teton Institute and the Mid-South Forum of Estate Planners. He has presented locally to lay and professional audiences, including A. G. Edwards and Sons, UBS, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Wunderlich Securities, Morgan Keegan, Strategic Financial Partners, Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, Mutual of Omaha and First Union Securities.

Larry lives in Oakland, Tennessee and is married to Stacie - They have two sons, Ryan and Justin.
