Education

In addition to holding a law degree from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas, Kevin Kolb also attended the University of Denver School of Law and obtained a Masters of Law in Taxation (LL.M. - Taxation, 1994). This additional knowledge and experience makes him qualified to assist his clients on many issues in many areas of the law.

Training and Experience

Kevin Kolb applies his experience as a former auditor for KPMG Peat Marwick and the valuable insight learned during his service as a licensed real estate agent. He is a current and former member and volunteer of many clubs and public service organizations including the Rotary Club, the United Way, and the Association of Texas Christian Sportsman. He is a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys, and the American Association of Certified Public Accountants. He has been certified by the Texas Board of Certified Public Accountants (C.P.A.).  Both partners are Certified Mediators - a distinction that has important benefits for family law clients.  Kevin M. Kolb also serves as Deputy City Attorney & Municipal Prosecutor for the City of Seguin, Texas. In this role, he has gained extensive experience in trials and litigation.

Elizabeth L. Murray-Kolb holds an elected position as Guadalupe County Attorney.  Because of this current role, she is of counsel to Kolb & Murray, P.C. Neither of the partners act as defense attorneys.

In all areas of law, we strive to consider the entire situation, including tax consequences, and work with our clients to arrive at the best possible outcome.
