Lawyer Overview

Scott E. Damon practices in the area of commercial litigation and products liability. He has represented a variety of clients, including extensive defense of automobile manufacturers in a wide array of automotive products litigation including rollover accidents, air bag design, seat belt design and crashworthiness claims. He also represents clients in catastrophic injury cases and various other consumer product litigation.

Mr. Damon has represented numerous FORTUNE 500 companies. His practice includes contract and securities litigation, as well as class actions. He has represented clients in disputes regarding the liability of title insurers in the event of insuring agent defalcation. He also acts as defense counsel in environmental litigation, medical malpractice, employment discrimination matters and nursing home negligence.

Mr. Damon regularly represents clients in the hospitality industry in accounting disputes and breach of contract actions. He has represented defendants in Americans With Disability Act claims in federal district courts and federal appellate courts.

Mr. Damon appears in both state and federal trial courts and has successfully argued appeals in state and federal appellate courts. He has also represented industry groups through amicus curiae briefs in state and federal appellate courts.

Mr. Damon is a member of the American, Florida and Orange County Bar Associations, and is a member of the Defense Research Institute.
