Years ago, people began calling Birmingham the Magic City because it grew like magic, a boom town of the late 19th century. The city is still growing, but today our magic has more to do with our southern hospitality and good times -- the magical warmth of our people.

Birmingham is a metropolitan community located in north-central Alabama riding the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. It is a generous city with geographic good fortune. With a metropolitan population over 1.1 million people, Birmingham is big enough to be cosmopolitan with great arts events and gourmet dining, but small enough to be friendly and easy to navigate.

Our offices currently occupy two floors of the Park Place Tower Building in the heart of downtown Birmingham, within a block of the county courthouse and two blocks from the federal courthouse. Our offices are also within easy walking distance to one of the Southeast's largest art museums and one of the country's finest multipurpose civic centers.
