Rylander & Associates PC provides diligent and thorough representation to businesses and individuals with intellectual property, litigation, and business matters. We are small, experienced, skilled, and adaptable and can provide efficiency and predictability. With only three attorneys and two full time staff in modest offices, we provide bandwidth without excessive overhead.

A potential client would have to look hard and at much bigger (and more costly) firms to get the same depth of experience, skill, and technological know how. The attorneys have over 18 years combined experience in patent and trademark drafting and prosecution, including in the most advanced technological arts. Coming from the University of Washington, the U.S. Naval Academy, and Princeton University, the educational achievements of our attorneys compare favorably to any firm in the Country.

We are an all inclusive one-stop IP shop, from application through litigation, and when litigation arises our clients are secure in our virtually unparalleled level of courtroom experience. The Firm has thousands of court appearances spanning Federal and State courtrooms, and Mr. Rylander has conducted numerous jury trials as lead trial attorney across hundreds of cases.

Located in beautiful historic downtown Vancouver, Washington--the oldest city in the Pacific Northwest--the Firm has a relaxed working environment and proactively seeks the best results for clients in the most efficient and economical matter. We focus on electronic filing and paperless files to improve efficiency.

Unlike mega firms and other boutiques, Rylander & Associates does not impose high minimum billable hour requirements on its attorneys which can lead to "padded" hours billed to clients. Our attorneys are focused on providing value to customers. We provide a quality of life so that our attorneys have life goals other than billing to be a partner. Keeping with a firm that breaks away from the traditional to keep up with modern business trends, we offer different billing structures based on client needs.
