Lawrence J. Avallone was born in New York, New York. He attended the State University of New York at Binghamton where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1975. In 1980, he received his law degree from Temple University.

Attorney Avallone has been practicing law since 1981. He has practiced law for more than 30 years and has appeared before the Courts of Common Pleas, Superior Court, and Commonwealth Court. He has also appeared before the Federal Courts of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He is a current member of the Justinian Society, a society of attorneys of Italian heritage.
