Goldman Antonetti & Cordova, P.S.C. is a law firm of approximately fifty attorneys. It counsels and represents local, national and international manufacturing companies, financial institutions, insurance companies, service companies, government agencies, trade and professional associations, hotels and restaurants, non-profit institutions, and individuals. The firm is active on behalf of clients before federal and Puerto Rico courts, before government agencies, and in domestic and foreign negotiations and transactions.

The present firm resulted from the merger of the legal practices of Brown Newsom & Cordova and Goldman & Antonetti in 1993.

Founded in 1910 by J. Henri Brown, former U.S. Attorney General for the island, Brown Newsom & Cordova was at the time of the merger the oldest law firm in Puerto Rico. Enrique Cordova Diaz joined Brown and Walter Newsom, Jr. in 1935. The senior member of the Brown Newsom & Cordova group at the time of the merger, "Quique" Cordova, dean of Puerto Rico bank lawyers, continued to practice until his death in 1998.

Max Goldman founded Goldman & Antonetti in 1959. Once a member of the litigation division of the Federal Communications Commission and law clerk to Chief Judge Learned Hand, Goldman came to Puerto Rico to assume the position of Director of the Office of Industrial Tax Exemption. In 1960 he was joined by Vicente Antonetti, who continues active in his labor relations and employment law practice as counsel for management, and chairs the firm’s Executive Committee.

The firm has expanded and diversified through time, maintaining its commitment to excellence.
