Lawyer Overview

Edward Ho is a litigation partner in the Cerritos office of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo, focusing on business and employment matters. He represents management clients in a variety of employment disputes such as sexual harassment, race discrimination and wrongful termination.  Mr. Ho prosecutes and defends trade secret and unfair competition claims. He also has extensive litigation experience in construction and tort litigation. 

Mr. Ho is active in the local community and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Friends of Arts Education at the Cerritos Center of the Performing Arts. He recently completed his second term on the City of Cerritos Economic Development Commission, an organization that advises City Council on the needs of existing businesses and the availability of economic development opportunities and resources.

From its inception in 2004 through 2008, Mr. Ho was named a "Southern California Rising Star" by Los Angeles Magazine. This recognition honors exceptional Southern California attorneys who are under the age of 40. In 2009, Mr. Ho was voted one of Southern California’s Super Lawyers.

Mr. Ho earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley with a double major in Economics and Legal Studies.  He received his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University School of Law and his Masters Degree in International Relations from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University. While attaining his Masters at John Hopkins University, he was an assistant editor for the SAIS Review.

Mr. Ho frequently contributes to the firm’s publications and is proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
