The Law Firm of Blanchard, Merriam, Adel & Kirkland, P.A. is one of the oldest continuously existing law firms in Marion County, Florida, having been established in 1974. Since then the law firm has served clients ranging from multi-national firms to our local friends and neighbors. We serve a broad range of client needs including personal matters, litigation (state, federal and appellate), complex commercial transactions, personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and criminal matters.

Our attorneys handle issues involving local, state, federal and international concerns, which include practice before the Florida Supreme Court, admission to the United States Supreme Court and trial experience in Florida Circuit Courts and Federal District Courts in Florida and other states. In addition, our attorneys handle administrative hearings before local, county, state and federal administrative boards. Our firm has handled administrative appeals through the Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C. involving the space shuttle. We have been involved in the negotiation and execution of complex contracts involving professional services, construction, land acquisition and development, corporate acquisitions and transfers, and also simple transfers.

We have always served a broad and diverse range of clients, both large and small, some with routine legal needs, and others with the most complex of legal problems. Regardless of the size or complexity of the matter, our primary aim is to serve our clients in a personal, timely, effective and professional manner.

To accomplish this, we maintain a staff of trained and experienced professionals and support staff, and make use when necessary of the most advanced and sophisticated computer aided legal support. We have available to us the computer and video services necessary to create the most complex reconstructions and simulations. We are able to provide a quality of service, competence and professionalism on a par with any other law firm with which we may become involved. At the same time, we strive to distinguish ourselves from many such large law firms by maintaining a very personal relationship with our clients.
