Law Firm Overview

Due, Price, Guidry, Piedrahita & Andrews is an association of trial attorneys representing individuals or their families in personal injury, wrongful death and admiralty, maritime and offshore injury and death cases. While our firm has worked on many large cases, such as the landmark "leyoub, ex rel. Louisiana v. American Tobacco Company lawsuit", in which $4.6 billion was obtained for the State of Louisiana from tobacco companies, our focus is primarily on individuals and their families.

Members of our firm receive many honors from fellow attorneys and rating services. We are listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers and the firm receives we receive the highest possible ability and ethical ratings annually from the Martindale-Hubbell lawyer rating service.

Our firm includes a former and current law professor, three former judicial law clerks who served the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Louisiana Supreme Court, and the Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeal, two members who graduated first in their law school classes and four members who were members of the Order of the Coif and the Louisiana Law Review (three of whom served as editors). Firm members are frequent speakers at continuing legal education programs, and have published scholarly law articles in the Louisiana Law Review, Insurance Counsel Journal, the Louisiana Bar Journal, The Maritime Lawyer and Trial Magazine.
