JOHN A. SIKORA is a partner in our Delafield office where his practice includes tax planning, tax controversies, real estate law and corporate law.

Mr. Sikora is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin (B.B.A., 1979) and the University of Wisconsin Law School (J.D., cum laude, 1982). Following graduation in 1982, he served as the law clerk for Judge Richard S. Brown of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.

Prior to joining Weiss Berzowski Brady LLP in 1985, Mr. Sikora was employed as a tax attorney by Arthur Andersen.  He is a former Chair (1993-1994) of the Taxation Section of the Milwaukee Bar Association, a former editor of the Wisconsin State Bar News and a former Chair (2002-2003) and current member of the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin State Bar Taxation Section.

Mr. Sikora is an adjunct professor of law at Marquette University Law School where he teaches corporate income tax and tax controversies.

He has served as the instructor for numerous continuing education programs, including courses offered by the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and has frequently been recognized as an outstanding discussion leader for WICPA seminars. He has been selected as a 2005 Wisconsin Super Lawyer and selected to be included in the 2003 through 2007 editions of The Best Lawyers in America.

Mr. Sikora is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Bar Association.
