Our firm founder, Ward F.(Fred) Hoppe is a long time resident of Lincoln and his family has played a significant role in the planning, development and growth of many areas in Lincoln. Fred Hoppe has strong ties to the local community and is committed to giving back to the hometown where he has been given so much. Mr. Hoppe has concentrated his practice in the area of real estate agency and development and is a Housing Credit Certified Professional(HCCP). He is an active participant in the National Homebuilders Association, serving as Director and on their Legal Affairs Committee and a Multifamily Trustee. Mr. Hoppe also serves as second vice president of the Nebraska State Homebuilders and is a Chair of the Affordable Housing Committee. He is a member of both Lincoln and Central local chapters of the NSH and he remains an active member of the Lincoln Lions Club. Mr. Hoppe regularly gives back to the community through pro bono legal work for the Nebraska Housing Resource, which creates opportunities for low-income persons to obtain affordable housing. In the midst of his busy schedule, Mr Hoppe makes time to enjoy the beautiful Nebraska countryside during duck hunting season.

A recent graduate of the University of Nebraska School of Law, Scott Vogt hails from Sioux Falls, S.D. Mr. Vogt clerked at both the Nebraska Attorney General's office and Hoppe,Vogt & Barrows, LLP. He is an active member of the Young Lawyers section of the Nebraska Bar Association and a member of the Lincoln Bar Association. Mr. Vogt specializes in property dispute litigation and has argued in front of the Nebraska Supreme Court.
