Homer & Bonner, P.A. (the "Firm") was founded in 1986 to provide an independent alternative to the burgeoning array of national full service law firms. The Firm practices in the area of litigation at the trial and appellate levels, and specializes in complex commercial and civil litigation. The Firm also represents clients in business transactions.

The Firm represents local and money center banks, brokerage houses, local and national accounting firms, insurance companies, national and international corporations, air lines, law firms, and selected individuals. The Firm regularly receives referrals from these clients, corporate counsel and other law firms who require specialized litigation counsel.

The Firm's practice is evenly split between state and federal courts. The Firm's practice areas include the prosecution and defense of federal and Florida securities, commodities, banking, insurance and employment litigation; intellectual property litigation; professional malpractice actions (both legal, accounting and architectural); business takeover litigation; class actions and shareholder derivative actions; aviation litigation; construction litigation, First Amendment litigation on behalf of media clients; representation of debtors and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings; and pro bono representation. In addition, the Firm regularly represents clients in administrative proceedings and arbitrations before bodies such as the New York Stock Exchange, National Association of Securities Dealers, Commodities Futures Trading Commission, and National Futures Association. The Firm has also authored amicus briefs on a variety of securities, banking and First Amendment issues filed before the United States Supreme Court, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Florida Supreme Court.

The Firm also represents its clients in contract negotiations and business transactions, including agreements for asset sales and purchases, personal services, leases, stock options, publishing and financial services.
