At the law offices of Matthew J. Long I have been providing my clients with quality representation for many years. My practice has focused in the area of family law and estate planning for over 10 years, providing quality representation to my clients. I can help people through the legal process in a divorce or probate. When a person has a legal matter, it can be difficult to see another side to an issue.

I am a former pro tem Judge for Santa Barbara County. I have also taught community property law since 1994 to law students. My role as a judge has given me the perspective to approach the law in a fair and just way. I have the experienced in listening to both sides of a case and applying the law in the most fair and just manner.

For people concerned with their estate planning, I can guide them through the process a court will follow if they die with or without a will.
