Lawyer Overview

Bill Nakasian practices in the real estate area representing corporations, developers, equity investors, and large private equity real estate funds with their real estate portfolios and investments. He has extensive experience in structuring joint ventures and advising on portfolio dispositions and acquisitions; commercial and multifamily residential developments; primary & mezzanine financings; office, industrial, and retail leasing activities; public/private partnerships; and economic incentive programs.

Clients with whom Bill regularly works include CalEast Industrial Investors, LLC (a joint venture between The State of California Public Employees' Retirement System and LaSalle Investment Management); Capitol Square, Ltd.; The Dispatch Printing Company; Trammell Crow Residential; Nationwide Realty Investors; Developers Diversified Realty Corporation; and Franz Zentis GmbH & Co. KG.

Bill has been the lead counsel on several large portfolio transactions, including a $1.4 billion sale of more than 21 million square feet of industrial buildings in 18 cities and a sale leaseback transaction of more than 50 office and retail buildings in 13 states for a major financial institution.

Bill was selected as an "Ohio Super Lawyer" in 2007 and 2008 and was named to The Best Lawyers in America in 2008.
