Robert Strelecky joined Clifford Law Offices as a partner in 2001 after practicing for more than two decades in the medical malpractice field as a trial attorney. Over the years, he has tried dozens of cases to verdict and has earned a reputation among doctors and hospital administrators as a tough litigator and no-nonsense lawyer. He carefully prepares each case, and professionals across northern Illinois look to Mr. Strelecky for his common-sense, practical approach to every aspect of a case.

It wasn't a tough decision for Mr. Strelecky to change gears and utilize his lawyering skills for injured patients when he joined Clifford Law Offices. Over the years, he witnessed doctors and hospital staff who had made mistakes, and in those instances, he worked to see that the victims were fairly compensated.

When talking to Mr. Strelecky, it is clear that he brings with him his years of experience and in-depth medical knowledge, a real asset in his concentration of tort law. He has an advantage over his opponents because of his background in pre-medicine and science as well as his having worked up hundreds of cases over the years in the medical malpractice field. At one point in his career, he even considered earning a Ph.D. in science but decided instead to turn to the profession of law.

At Clifford Law Offices he is working on complex cases involving negligent doctors and medical personnel. Mr. Strelecky has been ranked in the top 5% of Illinois lawyers by two peer reviewed oragnizations: the Leading Lawyers Network and the Illinois Super Lawyers. He is AV rated, the highest possible rating by Martindale-Hubbell, a national lawyer peer reviewed organization.

Mr. Strelecky has been witness to a number of very sad stories over the years, and he treats all of his clients with respect and sensitivity, realizing that they are at one of the most tragic times of their lives. His calm manner and studied approach to every aspect of the case, though, lends some comfort to these families for they know they are in the hands of one of the city's most competent and thorough trial attorneys.
