Harris, Dowell, Fisher & Harris, L.C. represents management clients exclusively in all aspects of labor and employment law. The firm serves a wide variety of small and large local, national and international employers, in virtually every sector of the economy, including public sector employers. All members of the firm are seasoned in traditional management labor law and labor relations (including the National Labor Relations Act, unfair labor practices, collective bargaining, union contract negotiations, labor arbitration, labor strikes, countering union organization campaigns, union elections, and staying union-free). We represent and advise employers in equal employment opportunity law and employment discrimination (including age discrimination, race discrimination, sex discrimination, sexual harassment, affirmative action, employment disability discrimination and the Americans with Disability Act). Our practice also frequently involves other aspects of employment law and employment litigation (including employment contracts, employment at will, employee discipline, wrongful termination, personnel policies, personnel training, employee leasing, employee drug testing, covenants not to compete, occupational safety and health, employee benefits, ERISA, Family and Medical Leave Act, and wage and hour law). We are increasingly involved in alternative dispute resolution, including employment arbitration and employment mediation.
