Lawyer Overview

Todd Kennard represents clients in class actions and complex commercial litigation, including distributor/franchisor matters, securities cases, and consumer cases in various states and jurisdictions throughout the United States. He also represents clients involved in contract disputes, fraud, construction claims, accidents, and many other litigation matters. Todd has taken and defended more than 100 depositions of experts or other witnesses working in the fields of accounting, securities issues, marketing, statistics, disease causation, medical science, epidemiology, warnings, and other areas.

Todd's recent representations include General Motors in matters related to dealer litigation, including terminations and purchase agreements. He also has represented clients in securities matters, including pension fund litigation related to the AOL/Time Warner merger. Todd has served as chief trial counsel before courts and administrative law judges in a number of jurisdictions and forums, and he has handled and been involved in appellate proceedings at the state and federal court levels, including as lead counsel in the Ohio Supreme Court.

Todd is a graduate of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and is a member of the Columbus and Ohio State Bar Associations. He is coordinator of the New Lawyers Group in the Columbus Office.
