Mr. McCarty's area of expertise is employment law, including extensive experience in drafting, review and analysis of employment contracts and manuals, as well as litigation and appeals. Mr. McCarty has successfully litigated a wide range of high-profile employment lawsuits for defendants and plaintiffs. He has presented numerous employment seminars to prominent businesses in the state of Utah.

Mr. Mccarty came to work at the law firm of Richards Brandt Miller Nelson in 1996 and became a shareholder in 1999. He was formerly employed as an Assistant Attorney General with the Utah Attorney General's Office, handling employment, bankruptcy and collections matters.
